The following method is used to perform tests on military equipment: Department of Defense Interface Standard MIL-STD-461G, Requirements for the Control of Electromagnetic Interference Characteristics of Subsystems and Equipment.
Some of the more common tests performed under MIL-STD-461G include, but are not limited to:
- Radiated Emissions (RE101/RE102)
- Conducted Emissions (CE101/CE102)
- Radiated Susceptibility (RS101/RS103)
- Conducted Susceptibility (CS101/CS106/CS114)
